Recommended Installation Procedure:
- The safes may be installed in either concrete or timber floors. The opening in the floor should be at least 500mm square by 500mm deep.
- The safe should be secured with a strong mix concrete 1 x sand, 1 x stone, 1 x cement. Steel reinforcing material can also be used to help bond the concrete and provide better security.
- It is recommended that the mix be poured so that a concrete cover of at least 100mm (4 ) exists around each side of the safe and brought level with top.
- Floor safes are not waterproof. In damp situations the concrete should contain a waterproofing agent such as Silasec or Yurite (available from hardware stores).
- Whilst the concrete is setting, the door should be removed.
Delivery & Installation
Delivery & Installation
We deliver to all major cities in Australia. For Metro areas, you can generally expect your order within 3-5 business days. Because moving and installing a safe is a specialised task, we offer four flexible delivery options to suit your needs:
- 1. Professional Delivery & Installation (Recommended): Our expert technicians deliver the safe, offload it, and bolt it into your concrete, timber, or tiled floor (or wall) according to manufacturer standards. This ensures your warranty and insurance ratings are valid.
- 2. Delivery to Door: Delivery to your front door (ground level) only. You are responsible for moving and installing the unit.
- 3. Delivery to Site: You are responsible for offloading the safe from the truck yourself.
- 4. Warehouse Pickup: You can collect the safe from one of our warehouse outlets by prior arrangement.
Why Choose Professional Installation?
While DIY is possible, it is not encouraged for high-security items. Incorrect installation can leave gaps that vulnerabilities to burglars or void your fire-resistance rating. Our licensed technicians ensure your safe is correctly levelled and securely bolted to prevent removal.
Lifetime Support & Maintenance
We don't just sell safes; we maintain them. Whether you need a lock upgrade, lose your combination, or require general servicing, our accredited professionals are available Australia-wide to keep your safe in optimal condition.
